Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
Basic Land Registry ("the site") is an unofficial fan project for cataloguing Magic: The Gathering basic lands. This policy explains what we collect and how it's used.
What we collect
If you create an account, we store your email address and a public username (handle). When you log lands, rate, review, or build lists, that activity is saved to your account so it can sync across your devices. If you use the site without an account, your collection is kept only in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
How it's stored
Accounts and collection data are stored with our backend provider, Supabase. Row-level security restricts your private data so that only you can read or change it. Aggregate, non-identifying figures (such as how many collectors own a card) may be shown publicly.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage to remember your binder, your display preferences, and your sign-in session. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Third parties
Card data and images are served from Scryfall. If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares basic profile information (your email) with us through OAuth. Currency exchange rates are fetched at build time from a public rates service. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can change your username and display currency in Settings, and sign out at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the address below and we'll process it.
